It's time for a weekend video! Today is time for Rose Wonder Bundle! Enjoy!

How about we do something different today!! When I saw the Four Way Card I knew that I had to try it. It does fold flat so don't worry about it not fitting into an envelope.
I'm using It's My Party dsp from the Occasions catalog which is just so much fun! I think anything with Melon Mambo is just fun and happy. The cupcake was made with Sprinkles of Life stamp set and the coordinating Tree Builder Punch which is an absolute must when you have that set.
And this is how the card looks from top looking down. Enjoy!

It sure is a happy day when I can spend some time making cards! I love this butterfly but because of it's size I have been predominantly been using it on presents and giftbags. So you know that a card with it was way over due.
I decided to put a spin on it and use it as a stencil. It served two purposes:
1. First of all, I got the stenciled image which is neat in itself
2. The butterfly got a sponge bath with Blushing Bride.

And a very Good Morning to all of you fellow stampers! Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! Today I'm using a 2 inch circle and the Sprinkles of Life to create a balloon. That's a first for me and I was happy with the way it came out. I probably could have used a marker to create ropes but it would have been WAY too easy, so of course I dragged twine out of my drawer. What do you think?
Oh yes, I used the Tempting Turquoise cardstock which I dusted off just another day. The basket is stamped in Whisper White (it doesn't look like it, does it?!?) on Early Espresso.

Although I'm not the biggest fan of Valentine's Day, or rather what it represents, I just had to make a card for you.
You probably recognize Gorgeous Grunge in the background, which I stamped in Sahara Sand. I also embossed the hearts just to add a little bit of texture and voila, here we have it! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the paper is Cherry Cobbler and Crumbcake.

Well, how about this alternative to the adult coloring books which are so darn popular now days? Yes, I had an urge to color and I took out this wonderful Butterfly Basics stamp set. It is absolutely magnificent. And I love it. And it's magnificent. Yes, you got the point, I know.
Lets just take a moment and look at the many reasons as to why coloring is good for you and your mental health....
1. It's a great mean of relaxation and reduces stress and anxiety.
2. It trains your brain to focus and your brain is grateful to you for that.
3. Coloring utilizes parts of brain helping with problem solving and organizational skills.
4. What a great creative outlet!
5. Brings you back to much simpler times when as kids we didn't have much responsibilities and the biggest problem was to choose the right color pencil for the flower.
Putting all science aside, coloring is just fun and it's letting you be YOU!
I stamped the flower in black and then used Blender Pen to color it in Old Olive and Calypso Coral which is complementing our wonderful butterfly friend. All the sponging and background stamping is done in our one and only So Saffron. Honestly, now that I look at the card I really should have stamped the image higher. What was I thinking?? Oh well, nobody will notice... only that now everyone will notice as I pointed it out!

If you ever wonder why I love the Simply Scored tool, this is why!! Just a few scored lines on this simple card add such nice touch to it. I hope you can see them. It's always a nice reminder of how terrible of a photographer I am when I attempt to take a picture of details and... they are simply not coming out.
I used Pear Pizzaz for the card base, the leave are stamped in Old Olive and Pear Pizzaz. The greeting is from Petite Pairs and is stamped in Always artichoke. Oh yes, there is some Old Olive paper in there too.

Bloomin Hears Thinlits Dies. I know, I know, they are totally to die for! Especially with the Blushing Bride glimmer paper. Yeap, it's the bomb!! And here is a little video for you to enjoy!
And don't forget to check out the Die Brush to help you take out all the tiny pieces out from the more elaborate die cuts - such as this one.

I can't even tell you when the last time was when I used Tempting Turquoise. Shame on me for shaking dust off that cardstock!
Today I decided to use Sprinkles of Life. One thing you need to know about this set is that it has million pieces (yes, drama queen in me - you know there are no million pieces in there) which allow you to come up with million (I'm doing it again - drama!) different variations of cards and designs.
I absolutely love the little flowers which come separate from the stems and because they are clear, you can easily stamp them in the designated spots. Yes, the punch is a must with the set so don't even think about not getting it because you will not get the proper use of this set. You don't want to spend the money? Well, then wait till you can get both.
Now, it brings me to yet another item on the agenda and that's my original dislike of clear stamps. In my old blogs I probably wrote some not so nice things about clear stamps but right now, I'm taking back all that bad talk. Yeap. Taking it back just like that. I'm doing that because there are a lot of reasons why I like them.... afterall.
* They store in thin containers and take half the space (or less) of the rubber counterparts.
* You can arrange several stamps on one clear block and create an image of your own.
* They will stick to clear block forever (drama in me again, what do I know about forever, right??!) when you give them an occasional swipe with rubbing alcohol.
* You can run them under water to get them clean and not worry about any damage.
* They give you crisp line image.
* They make it easy to position stamps while creating multi-color image (such as the flowers and stems in my card today). No need to stamp-a-magic while using them - that is for sure!
* They are so much cheaper and cheaper is good.
* In my personal opinion, the "full" or "filled" images are not as deep as their rubber friends.

I'm not sure if I should describe myself as "cheap" or frugal. I wear clothes until they get holes, shoes until the soles fall off and even my pot and pans need to give me a decent amount of service before I decide to replace them (or should I say when my family decides to replace them for me). The same rule applies to my stamps.
Before I purchase a stamp set this is what I consider:
* Is the stamp set versatile so that I could make a lot of different creations with it?
* Can I use them all year long?
*Does it have coordinating die cuts (I'm into that now)?
So this brings me to the wonderful set of Vintage Leaves. When you first look at it, the set screams FALL, as it should. Most of us stamp the most wonderful colors of fall with it. However, when I did get that set, that was not my sole purpose. I really wanted to use it more than just a fall set and today I did just that. The plan is to make many more every day greeting cards i with it because being versatile (as I mentioned) is important to me.
On top of that I decided to make my own background stamp. No, please, stop, don't give me any credit for coming up with the idea because as always I found it on Pintrest where all the brilliant people of the world post their amazing creations. I could have used Gorgeous Grunge and that would have worked just fine but you know me, gotta try something new.
You just wrap twine around a clear block and you stamp with it.
Just like that!

This is by far my fastest go-to "Thank You" card. I whipped up a ton of them in no time at all! I mean in no time! I made them to give them out and used some to create little bundles to give away as gifts. I just love the Another Thank You and the Gorgeous Grunge sets together. Today I used Watermelon, Marina Mist and Mint Macaron so get to it and give it a go!

I found the tutorial for this Pocket Tissue Holder on spticoaststampers. It is just so darn easy to make. A sheet of cardstock and some score lines. Use oval punch to punch out the whole for the tissue.
I used Tip Top Taupe along with Cherry On Top designer paper. Then came Petite Petals stamp set and punch. I love these darling little flowers. They will put a smile on anyone's face in no time.
Attention!! When you get the little tissue bag, make sure that it is the one that opens in the middle, not at the end. The type that opens at the end is folded in a different way and it's hard to pull the tissues out. Enjoy!

As I have mentioned in my previous post, I have completely depleted my collection of masculine cards so I'm on a rampage to increase my supply.
The base today is Crumbcake with a bit of Cherry Cobbler. You would think that I'm talking deserts throwing all those names at ya!!! Ha! The sponging was done in Marina Mist with a tint of Night of Navy (which in the past I also have called Old Navy which really tells you where my mind really is!!). I have decided to use every single stamp from this set on one card which I have never done before and I think that it came out ok. If you can't see it in the picture, I stamped the Cherry Cobbler with the scrip stamp from the set (in Cherry Cobbler ink).

I made this card on my recent out of town trip. Usually I would use the markers for the goose since I like her to be different color than the grass but ... I forgot the markers. So the alternative was to do my best and use Old Olive and Espresso ink pads only and try not to destroy my little friend here... so... outcome is... green feet and belly! But does it really matter?? Probably not! Enjoy this wonderful Wetlands stamp set!

I have been anxiously awaiting a cute cup of coffee stamp set .....

Going Places is going to be fantastic mainly because of the amazing embossing folder which shows the map of the world. I hope that it will stay with us forever because I'm dying to use it with my Open Sea stamp set! Oh yeah, the paper is out of this world as well. Simply said, just love it!

Continuing with the stamping madness, this is the most wonderful triple stamping set! It is called Picture Perfect and you are going to love, love, love it! You do remember the triple stamping, right? Right. Well if you are just saying "yes" to get me off your back but clearly have no idea what I'm talking about.... I will make sure to go over it again.
