Cup cakes in a box

So, the Stamp Camp came and went and now it's time for some tutorials on how to make the project we worked on so hard over the weekend. I hope that everyone agrees that although this card looks complicated, it's not bad if you get the scoring and cutting right.

Here is a very good tutorial by Julie Davidson which will help you create this wonderful card with ease.

My Paper Pumpkin introduced

Now that I am getting back in the swing of things I'm out of control! Totally, totally out of control. I signed up for  My Paper Pumpkin. What is it? Yes, I figured that you would ask. It's a monthly subscription for a project which will be delivered to your doorstep. It is a complete project of either cards or other crafts and it includes paper, stamps, ink, ribbon, stickers, clothes pins or whatever else is a part of it. Everything is precut and ready to be put together in 30 minutes. You literally will only need glue because they even send you pop up dots if you need them. My second subscription is on the way and I will show it off to you at the stamp camp. Look thru the videos to see what's in store for you every month.

August My Paper Pumpkin

July My Paper Pumpkin
You can skip any month or cancel altogether at any time if you decide that you don't like it. Subscription is $19.95 plus tax (shipping included). Once you are a subscriber you can go right ahead and order a refill for only $7.95(will not include stamp and ink)! So far I love it. It's easy to put the projects together whether or not you are crafty.
You can read up more about it HERE.
Happy Stamping!

It's almost fall...

Fall begins on Monday! With the record heat it's really hard to grasp it. Those of you familiar with my blog have seen these before. Here is just a little flash back of the past fall cards:

I love this woodgrain embossing folder.

This is a part of the Lovely As A Tree club. Yes, some of us have never used it although we've owned the set for years. Would make a wonderful place card on Thanksgiving table, don't you agree?

This is a long retired set, however the easel technique can be used with any occasion card.
Window effect is easy to make with the square punch. I think that Lovely As A Tree would work on this card very well too. Yes, I used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder AGAIN...
Happy stamping during this fall season!

Cup cake punch card number 2

Here is another creation of mine with the cup cake punch. I don't know if you can see it but the bottom right window is actually punched out with the square punch and the cupcake is glued to the inside of the card. Enjoy!

Cupcake punch card

I just recently got the cupcake punch from SU. Love using it and love the different things that you can make with it. Here is one of my creations. I also used a scalloped and a circle punch. The main colors are Melon Mambo and obviously Whisper White. And what is on top of the cupcake, you ask? Well, that's crystal effects sprinkled with some glitter. Happy stamping!

As I am getting things ready for our Stamp Camp at the end of the month I was looking thru some of the old cards that we made at previous workshops. Can you believe that SU Lovely As A Tree stamp set is still one of the top sellers! It's been over a decade! Some of you may remember these "oldies".... Since then, all of them have been retired with the exception of the last one...
