The diagonal plate that goes with SU Simply Scored is so much fun with. Besides all kind of paper crafts that you can make with it, you can also use it to create a background for your card.
The Fabulous Four stamp set seems perfect with these cards and I'm glad I chose it.
The colors are Watermelon and Wild Wasabi...

.... and Watermelon some more. You can see the diamonds a little bit better here....
On the Wasabi card I made the diamonds a little bit bigger...
I think that background looks good either way.
And here is another new color Tip Top Taupe... Very pretty
1. Insert diagonal plate into the scoring tool and start scoring. In this case I used a 3 by 4-1/4 cardstock.
2. Score at 0, 1/8, 1, 1-1/8, 2, 2-1/8 and so on (long side of the paper on top)
3. When you will start moving down on the left side of the paper, you will score at 7/8,1,1-7/8,2, 2-7/8, 3. It may sound a little bit complicated but that's because I'm making double lines.
If you were to make single lines you would score at 0,1,2,3 or whatever your desired spacing is.
Going back to our Watermelon, it should start looking something like this.
Turn it 90 degrees and follow the same score line measurements as above. You really get a hang of it pretty fast, especially when you make a bunch of them.
