Hello there All! Today I am coloring translucent clay with alcohol inks to create my pendant. The original idea was to get close to the color of the lava but this is the closest that I came to it. Check out my video to see how I did it:
This is the first time that I used alcohol inks to color translucent clay and I love the outcome!
The baking process transforms the pendant completely. The colors are more vibrant than before it went int the oven and all of a sudden you get this absolutely variation in color.
You can peak thru some of the layers for the clay and it is absolutely the neatest thing ever. I will absolutely use alcohol inks on clay again!
