The gift of cards

Now that a lot of you are getting into the groove of card making and officially got the "card bug", two things are going to happen:

- You will all of a sudden remember all the birthdays and anniversaries in your entire family. In addition, you will notice the need of giving cards for made up occassions such as TGIF or "TGI a beautiful day"!

- Your card production will increase dramatically and you will slowly start running out of people and occasions to give the cards to. You will then start accumulating the extra cards. (I think that I have mentioned before that from time saving perspective you should ALWAYS make four or more cards at a time.)

Well, you are in luck. Having a stash of extra cards is the best thing that could have happened to you and you don't even know it! With Hallmark charging up to $5 per card, a bundle of cards would make a wonderful gift for everyone. Now the time has come that you start wrapping them up as gifts for friends and family. I give out bunches of 10 cards and envelopes to Nash's teachers or to friends during Christmas and they absolutely love it.

If you do decide to go that route you can easily make a card purse, such as the one above, or you can try Papertrey Ink and purchase clear boxes at a reasonalbe price from them. If you make your own bag, make sure to use a tacky tape because the tape runners are really not holding the bag very well. To decorate the card purse I used the designer paper which you can get for FREE from SU with a $50 purchase. What a deal!

Happy crafting!
