Boston Cream Poke Cake

Hi everyone!
You are very welcome! Yes, that's right, you all are going to be so grateful that I am sharing this recipe with you so there, you are so darn welcome and thanks for stopping by to visit! I found it on Amanda's Cookin and oh goodness, is this one easy and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients for Boston Cream Poke Cake:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare)
  • 2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup

  1. Prepare and bake the cake in a 13x9 pan according to the package instructions. Let cool completely before poking holes across the cake with the bottom of a wooden spoon. Be sure to poke all the way to the bottom of the pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together pudding, milk, and vanilla, but don't let it get thick. Pour the thin pudding over cake in an even layer, poking down into the holes if necessary.
  3. Refrigerate the cake for at least one hour.
Heat cream in the microwave with the corn syrup and pour it over chocolate chips. Mix until smooth and pour over the cake. Refrigerate overnight.
