Shrimp and Sausage Dinner

The actual recipe was called One Sheet Dinner but unless you are a family of two, it is absolutely impossible to feed everyone with one sheet. A wonderful thing about this dish is that there is a minimal amount of clean up, it is rather healthy, definitely quick to prepare and it will satisfy your taste buds, leaving you craving for more!

 Ingredients

2 lb shrimp, shelled and devained (13-15 count is the best)
1 lb turkey sausage, sliced
2 onions, sliced into big chunks
2 red and yellow bell peppers, cut into pieces
2 zucchini and 1 yellow squash or 3 zucchinis, sliced
3 T olive oil
1/4 cup melted butter
3 tsp minced garlic
1T dried parsley
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Fresh parsley for serving (optional)

Turn the oven to 425 degrees.  Mix oil, butter, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, season salt, paprika and cayenne pepper. Add two TBS of the mix to shrimp. Mix it well and let it marinade while you get the rest of the food ready. On a baking sheet mix together all the prepared vegetables and sausage. Add the rest of the seasoning mix and put it in the oven. While the veggies are baking, take the shrimp and put it on another baking sheet. Place it in the oven. I like my vegetables to be very well done so it took me 25 to bake this batch but it you like them crunchy, it may take only 15 minutes or thereabouts. Once the shrimp and veggies are done, take them out of the oven and mix them together on one of the two sheets and serve it on a platter.
Enjoy!
