Sprinkles of Life notecards

If you flip over to the last page of the SU catalog (page 189 to be exact) you will find Sprinkles of Life Ronald McDonald stamp set. With a purchase of this stamp set SU will donate $3 to the Ronald McDonald House Charity.

A neat thing about this set is that you can create many different images with it and it's always fun. The coordinating Tree Builder Punch allows you to punch out clouds, trees (forests, if you wish), cupcakes (with sprinkles or without), ice-cream scoops (any flavor), apples and birds for the trees.

I wanted to get three notecards from each sheet of cardstock so the result was three 8 1/2 by 3 1/2 cards (they measure 4 1/14 by 3 1/2 folded).

Do you remember when I said that you can punch out the clouds....

.... the ice cream scoops....

.... the tree with an apple and a bird that flew away....

When you have an Envelope Punch board, you really can make any size card that you want because with this little device you can create 66 different envelope sizes! It's amazing and yes, you have seen me use it to make boxes, party favors and such. Oh did I mention that it's on sale at 25% off thru next Monday?? Just click Weekly Deals to see it.

I first chose the size of my card. It tells you on the side that for that card size you will need a 6 3/4 by 6 3/4 cardstock and your first punch is at 3 inches.

You punch it and score it at 3 inches, then turn it 90 degree, align your little measuring point with the already scored line and punch and score again. Turn it 90 degrees and repeat it on all sides.

This is your finished product. Pretty darn easy when you have the right tool to make it! I used a regular cardstock but SU started to carry envelope paper for your punch board so check it out and see how you like it.

Voila!! Notecard is ready for a take off, wherever it is going!
