How to get clear blocks to stick...

It has been my dilemma as to what to do with the little problem of clear blocks simply not sticking to my stamps or vice versa.


Clear mount stamps are so great in so many ways.

 * They are way cheaper than the wood mount  stamps so you get to buy more stamps.

* You can also position them easily as the block is , yes that's right, clear. Not only that, you can actually put a few of them together on one block to spell out a person's name for example. Now, that's great!



* They are great to store because they take very little space.




One thing that you will not like about the clear mount stamps is that with time they will get less sticky and therefore will not stick to the clear block. Some people clean them in soapy water, others rub the foamy part on their pants and it works... sometimes. It seems that a common remedy for this horribly annoying problem is to take two way glue pen. Put some  glue on the foam part of the stamp, let it dry and then attach it to the mounting block. You will be able to take it off and put it back on!
